Between 7th and 15th of August 2010, the ORP “Heweliusz” hydrographic vessel, once again conducted research on the seabed to locate the wreck of the ORP “Orzeł” submarine. The search was part of a half-month-long cruise with a group of cadets undertaking navigation practice. During the search, the ship was towed by a sonar towed for eight days to the North Sea. Overall, an area of 270 square kilometers has been checked, unfortunately, not finding the wreck of the legendary “Eagle”.
